This week at hpjv solicitors we successfully defended a client charged with dishonestly receiving benefits.
It is widely acknowledged that the benefits system is not the most straight forward or easy to access. At trial, our Advocates were able to successfully argue that our client had been confused by the system and as such was not being dishonest.
