Hodson Parsons James & Vaux

Hodson, Parsons, James & Vaux ("HPJV") was formed in 1999 by the amalgamation of two of Newport's local firms of solicitors - Hodson, Parsons from west of the river Usk and Derek James & Vaux from the east.

Both firms had developed strong client bases throughout Newport and Gwent. The result of the amalgamation is a thriving, modern "High Street firm" providing a wide range of legal services for the people and businesses of Newport and Gwent, characterised by a friendly and caring approach to the affairs of our clients.

As well as the usual telephone, FAX and email facilities, partners and staff have access to up to date computers and information technology. The on-going development of our IT systems is designed to help us provide our clients with an efficient and cost-effective legal service.

The amalgamation of the two firms and our investment in modern technology has enabled the new firm to form individual departments, enabling both partners and staff to develop specialist expertise in their chosen fields of law.
