Lovely and very friendly made you feel at ease. Everything was very good especially during a pandemic, your responses were swift.
Brilliant, everyone was so friendly and helped a lot. I appreciate their help and want to say a big thank you.
Ceri was friendly and helpful throughout. We had quite a few questions as this is the first time and she was so patient and answered all our questions via email. Thank you Ceri.
Excellent service. I’ve often found solicitors take days and sometimes weeks to respond to calls and emails, but HPJV got back to me immediately every time. Professional service, great advice and did their best to give the best value. All work completed to a high quality, swiftly with no fuss. Thanks
Great experience with hpjv solicitors , thank you Ashleigh Woodward in dealing with my legal matter in such an efficient and professional manner, I would have no hesitation in using your services again or recommending you to friends and acquaintances.
Excellent service. Our case was handled by Daniel and Scott who were always available to answer questions, were very understanding and sympathetic and most importantly did a great job. We had the best result possible and are very grateful. Highly recommend based on my experience.
We wanted to thank you for your very hard work & professionalism managing our very demanding and frustrating times during our legal processes in respect to our house sale/purchase!
Joanne Matthews (Wall)
Joanne joined hpjv in March 2020 as head of our Private Client Department and takes the lead role for our Conveyancing and Probate teams. Joanne qualified as a solicitor in 2007 after completing her training contract in a well-respected firm of solicitors in Barry. Having primarily focussed upon conveyancing work prior to qualification, following qualification Joanne side-stepped into the Wills and Probate sector where she gained valuable experience in an in-house environment of a major national player in the retail sector providing Wills and Probate services. Joanne then spent a number of years honing her Wills and Probate skills, frequently dealing with high value estates and net worth clients. Her career progressed to a Team Leader role and Customer Service manager for that business.
Following the birth of her second child, Joanne made the decision to return to her Conveyancing roots and became an integral member of a team at a highly-respected South Wales High Street firm, specialising in panel Conveyancing. The experience gained in that role enabled Joanne to continue to expand her Conveyancing skill-set whilst, at the same time, deploying her management and commercial skills gained in previous employment to develop strong working relationships with clients, professional contacts and staff alike.
Joanne handles large volumes of residential conveyancing work including freehold, leasehold, unregistered land, shared ownership, transfer of equities, re-mortgaging and new build transactions and also undertakes all aspects of private client work including Will planning, Administrations of Estates, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection and Deputyship work. Joanne is committed to helping and assisting her clients throughout the entirety of their transactions, ensuring that they are treated with the utmost respect and empathy, with a view to ensuring a smooth process of their matter from start to finish
In her leisure time, Joanne enjoys spending quality time with her young family and her friends. She also enjoys running and keeping fit as well as travel, reading and eating out
